Simplicity
DuneCam simplifies the process of remotely controlling a camera. With its small, highly integrated controller, you can point your camera, trigger the shutter and monitor a video image from up to 1 km (3000 ft) away.
Flexibility
DuneCam has three channels of motion control, designed for controlling standard R/C servo motors. The camera's shutter can be triggered by a servo channel, infrared (if your camera supports it) or a switch closure (if your camera supports it). Very powerful remote camera functions are possible for Canon cameras running CHDK.
Ease of Use
The DuneCam handheld controller has been custom designed just for this purpose and is quick and simple to use, yet powerful enough to give you the control you need. Its sunlight-readable display eliminates the need for sun shields and hoods that other systems require for outdoor use.
Its user interface was designed to quickly and easily control the remote camera without distracting attention from operating the kite, balloon, helicopter, or pole used to loft an aerial camera.
DuneCam is a sophisticated micro-controlled system that can be customized for each user's needs through the use of easy to set up files on a flash card. These files can be modified with any personal computer and greatly simplify changing setttings in the field to suit different situations.
